For anyone who has ever dreamed of visiting the White House and being hosted by the presidential couple of the United States, this VR experience is an unparalleled opportunity to see this dream come true. Thanks to the charismatic charm and warm hospitality of Barack and Michel Obama, the viewer will be immersed in an enchanting casual friendly tour while remembering some transcendental episodes of the American history.
Winner of the 2017 Primetime Emmy Award, Outstanding Original Interactive Program, this inspiring VR film is an intimate tour of the splendid presidential residence where many crucial decisions that shaped the world have been taken place here. The viewer will be trilled to explore the spectacular executive mansion at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue and learn about the stories of the iconic rooms surrounded by neoclassical style decor and magnificent art masterpieces, including the Oval Office, the Situation Room, the Cabinet Room, the Red Room, the Private Study and the Lincoln Bedroom.
The delightful user experience adequately recreates the protocol and discretion required to any visitor in the real setting, but with the flexibility and easiness offered by the virtual world. The experience feels fresh and compelling.
When you are listening Barack Obama on the oval office, fortunately you don’t have to worry about to make rapport to him as any other visitor must do. So you can focus on what it matter must to you. There are no interactive actions available in the film, but those are not needed because the pace of the film is remarkable, and the music and sound are superb.
The VR experience exceeded my expectations. It’s a memorable, entertaining, and relevant VR film that provides a significant perspective about the presidential life. The experience elicited great thoughts about the symbolisms, meanings, and traditions of the American culture, and it contributed to conform a richer perspective about the life activities and social peculiarities that the presidential family faces. Paraphrasing President Ronald Reagan, this VR film made my day.
